That could be another person, a sunset,  a great piece of art,  something so simple as a flower in the dirt, or a great, comforting cup of tea. And in that moment, you realized that your sorrows were gone and even your pain. And somehow your life didn&#8217;t felt so dark anymore. And you felt peace and bliss within you, maybe even while the physical pain still stayed.</p><p>Weren&#8217;t you tempted in these moments to grab that object of beauty and wanted to keep it forever? And yet somehow you never could.</p><h2>What Will You Get out of It (if You Participate)?</h2><p>By following this exercise (remember reading alone wouldn&#8217;t help you with it) you will:</p><ul><li>learn a way to experience bliss whenever you want</li><li>be able to quiet your mind from sorrows and anxiety in one minute or less</li><li>learn that you are the one who creates bliss and beauty in your life</li></ul><p><span
id="more-844"></span></p><h2>Background Info: Beauty Is Not Within the Object, but Within the Viewer.</h2><p>Beauty is one way for us, to experience that wonderful state called bliss. Yet we must acknowledge to ourselves, that the power is not in the object, but within us, since a lot of people just weren&#8217;t touched just like we were in that moment. So the object of beauty only triggered the bliss state within us. Another way to describe triggering is, that we allowed ourselves to feel bliss by looking at this object of beauty.</p><p>Therefore, we could trigger this state again, by realizing the beauty that is all around us &#8211; everywhere.</p><h2>Action Steps: Now It Is Time to Stop Reading and Start Doing</h2><ul><li>Look around you now and see, what is around you. Pick one thing. That could be a flower, a person smiling, a scenery, a good tea, or anything else. Even if it consists of multiple things (like a scenery or nature) take it as one complete entity. Don&#8217;t pick out any detail. Let it be one.</li><li>Take a deep breath in, hold it for a second and then let it flow out of you slowly.</li><li>Focus your total awareness on the one thing.</li><li>Let your eyes and your mouth turn into a <a
id="aptureLink_xwiXNoBkpm" href="http://www.unwrapyourmind.com/put-the-power-of-your-smile-on-steroids/">smile</a></li><li>Recognize how beautiful that thing in front of you is. How perfect (even if it is imperfect). See it as one of the most beautiful creations that you ever came across.</li><li>Feel yourself being full of awe by that thing. Let your focus get sucked in by the beauty of this thing.</li><li>Remember how lucky you are, that this thing is in your life. Feel grateful for it. Say &#8220;Thank you for being in my life.&#8221;</li><li>Tell yourself, how lucky you are, that you could experience this moment.</li><li>Allow yourself to feel bliss now and be content with what just is. Feel this feeling grow inside yourself and let it expand throughout your body. Shower your whole body and existence with it. Let this feeling fill every corner of your body and soul. id="more-637"></span></p><h2>What is Time?</h2><p>Time in itself is a really interesting phenomenon. It is known, that on a subatomic level time and space are not, what we experience in this known world. Quantum physics tell us, that subatomic particles can be at several locations miles away from each other at the same time. This is not esoteric wishful thinking. This has been researched in scientific labs under the most strict circumstances. It has also been shown, that subatomic particles change their behavior and location depending on whom is watching them. So at this point we could not define what time is. We could just define how we experience it.</p><p><strong>The experience of time is depending upon the person watching it.</strong></p><p>We know this in our everyday experience already. Or would you exchange an hour with your new lover for an hour of getting a root canal?</p><h2>What Is the Function of Time?</h2><p>Time is a necessity for us to experience the multitude of stimuli in the outer and inner world.</p><ul><li>Our conscious mind can only evaluate and define a certain amount of stimuli per second.</li><li>Our conscious mind needs the definition of time to allow our brain to group the  experiences, evaluate them and make sense of them.</li><li>Our subconscious mind is not that depending on the continuity of space and time.</li></ul><h2>Why Would You Want to Control Time?</h2><p>While I haven&#8217;t found out how Hiro does bend time in the outer world, bending time in the inner world is a much more easy (and at the same time very useful) task.</p><p>If you find yourself in a situation, where you would like to control your thoughts running through your mind, this method will come in very handy.</p><p><strong>Situations like:</strong></p><ul><li>you would like to meditate, but you cannot quiet the stream of thoughts running through your mind</li><li>you face a difficult situation and are near a state of panic, where you cannot make a wise decision of what to do</li><li>you are in a heated argument with a loved one, and would like to break out of your normal pattern of reaction</li><li>and many more</li></ul><p><strong>Freezing time, allows you to</strong></p><ul><li>step back from the fear, stress, panic and anger which accompany these situations.</li><li>take a breath and regain your emotional stability</li><li>focus your mind on the solution and not on the problem</li><li>allows you to come up with more solutions than while being under pressure</li></ul><h2>How Can You Freeze Inner Time?</h2><p>It is easy:</p><ul><li>Take a deep breath</li><li>Hold your breath for a second</li><li>While exhaling say mentally (just inside yourself) or even aloud (if you are alone in the room) with a strong, commanding voice: &#8220;FREEZE&#8221;</li><li>Sense all objects of your inner world as frozen. And thoughts for this are objects that you could freeze.</li></ul><p>If you haven&#8217;t see heroes here is <a

So here are the best ways I know to use your established inner Personas.</p><p><span
id="more-241"></span></p><h2>1. Becoming the Persona</h2><p>If I want to express the qualities of a Persona I can step into the Persona and become him or her. What do I mean with &#8220;becoming that Persona&#8221;.</p><p>As an example if I am about to go on stage I need to switch into a more expressive, extroverted Persona who&#8217;s being able to enjoy public speaking compared to my more introverted normal Persona. This has nothing to do with faking. It is just expressing another set of qualities that are within me and belong to my Being. In this sense Personas are subsets of qualities that I might not express in other contexts.</p><p>Here is the process of doing this:</p><h4>Step 1. Go Into an Alpha State</h4><p>This could be done quite easily by:</p><ul><li><strong>Relaxe your body</strong>: just a little bit by letting your arms fall beside the body and maybe relax your shoulders is fine. We don&#8217;t go for total relaxation here &#8211; just a bit becoming more comfortable and easy is enough.</li><li><strong>Take one or two deep relaxing breaths and breathe out slowly</strong>: letting go of all the air inside you</li><li><strong>Close your eyes</strong>: closing the eyes produces Alpha-Brainwaves instantly. Now you can do this process with eyes open (even while driving) after a while, when you are used to it. If you keep your eyes open, defocusing them (looking with a soft gaze like in daydreaming) will help you to establish Alpha-Waves. Focussing your eyes will bring you out of Alpha pretty quick.</li><li><strong>Tilt you eyes slightly upwards</strong>: about 20 Degrees like looking unto a screen in a cinema</li><li><strong>Touching your upper palate with your tongue</strong>: this increases the nerve energy flow inside your body.</li></ul><p>Doing this will only take about 2-3 seconds after a short while. Just remember being in Alpha is a natural state and your body knows how to do it.</p><h4>Step 2: Place Your Persona in Front of You</h4><p>See him or her like a person standing in front of you &#8211; just 1 step ahead.</p><h4>Step 3: Step into them</h4><p>Just imagine that you could step into them like you would step into a room or in a special suit, that you could step into (think a bit of Science Fiction here).
Now you could do this stepping into physically or you can do it mentally (during mediation). Doing it physically has a greater impact on the body feeling. If I want a more dynamic expression of the Persona I would do a physical stepping into.</p><h4>Step 4:  Experience the Persona</h4><p>Feel how that person is breathing, standing, their muscular tension in different parts of the body. Experience how the person is talking to itself, how he or she is looking at things.
I would pay close attention to the physical experience, since this establishes the connection to the desired state pretty fast.</p><p><strong>You will find, that different personas have different physical experiences.</strong></p><p>For instance when I step into my Public Speaking Persona my chest widens; my shoulders drop a bit behind; I get a comfortable tension in my face and core and my muscles around my eyes tighten a bit widening my eyes; I breath with deep breaths and am using my hands very expressively and lively while talking. I have an explosive tension in my body and feel totally alert and awake. My inner voice is lively, dynamic and fast paced.</p><p>When I step into my Meditation Persona I feel totally different. My body relaxes, my head drops a bit my fascial muscles relax and my mouth expresses a slight smile of relaxation, peace and feeling comfortable. My breathing becomes deep and slow and my internal voice becomes soft and deep.
Actually this is the best way to start a meditation for me: using some deep breathing and then stepping into my Meditation Persona (who is an expert in all questions relating to Meditation, Relaxation and Controlling the Mind/Body Connection) brings me into the meditative state within seconds.</p><p>That is the power of using Personas. Remembering the experience of being in a Persona changes your experience and state at a rapid pace.</p><h4>Step 5: Leaving the Persona (optional)</h4><p>You can stay in that Persona as long as you like &#8211; expressing their unique qualities. Or you can step out anytime you like.</p><p>I have created Personas that are experts in Meditation, Public Speaking, Focussing on a Task, Writing etc. So whenever I am about to do meditation, acting, writing a blog article or focussing on a difficult task at hand, I can use this quick routine to bring out the innate necessary ressources fast.</p><h2>2. Increasing Their Qualities Within You</h2><p>This is a bit similar to &#8220;1. Becoming the Persona&#8221;. But here you need to be in a deeper meditative state. If you quickly need to change your physical or emotional state you would use method 1. If you want to increase the qualities that a Persona expresses within you more fully use this method.</p><p>During meditation you ask the Persona to allow a deep connection. If he or she agrees you can step into the Persona like in Method 1.</p><p>This time however delve a bit more into feeling the qualities you like about this Persona. Experience the wisdom, strength, eloquence or whatever quality you want to and while being connected you can experience this quality growing within you. You can experience it as if this quality would colour your soul and would stick with you even after you would leave the Persona. You can feel it growing within you every time you reconnect with the Persona. It then increases to be a quality that stays with you.</p><h2>3. Getting knowledge</h2><p>During a meditation I can also meet my inner Personas and ask them questions I need answers too.
I of course like to be in a deeper meditative state than during &#8220;Method 1: Becoming the Persona&#8221;.</p><p>I can speak to them in my meditation (mentally of course I don&#8217;t need my physical vocal chords for that). The answers you will get might surprise you. And sometimes they don&#8217;t seem to make much sense. But write them down and have a look at them later. It is not my intent to disturb you … or maybe it is my intent but in a healthy manner.</p><p>What I describe in this post is a concept which each one of you can and should test for at least 30 days and make a judgment afterwards based on your own experiences.</p><p>It is therefore in alignment with what I’ve said before … don’t take the teachings of someone else (including me) for the ultimate truth. Dare to find out for yourself!</p><h2>The Answers Are Already Within You</h2><p>As I stated already in my earlier post, I truly believe that the answers you need to develop yourself are already within you. You just need to ask &#8211; and maybe Higher Intelligence will use external sources like books, people or the Internet to remind you of that knowledge, but it is your subconscious that will lead you to it.</p><p>However instead of hoping that your subconscious will someday lead you to an answer, there is a much more direct approach. You can simply ask for it. But you need to ask in the right state of mind to communicate with Higher Intelligence (you might call it God, Super-Conscious or whatever other name. I don’t mind since it has many and no name at all). <span
id="more-165"></span></p><h2>The Alpha-State &#8211; The Key To Your Higher Intelligence</h2><p>The key to communicating with your higher intelligence is to get into the Alpha-state. It is the state of mind that is associated with daydreaming, meditation and deep prayer. I call it the Zone. It is here where you leave all the wrappings of false beliefs, etc. behind and re-connect with your real being. You will find below an easy way to get into the zone or the Alpha-State within minutes.</p><h2>About Your Emotions</h2><p>Another key is that you must align your emotions with your intent. While I want to elaborate on that in another post it is crucial right now to know, that whatever you feel while being in the zone, in meditation or in prayer is far more superior than the words you might use.</p><p>You see, when you say you want to solve a problem there is no power to it. But when you feel that you have already solved the problem you align your mind and your beliefs in the feeling.</p><p>Feel it has already happened. Feel the joy and peace while being in the zone. Feel the connection. Become sensitised to your feelings. Your feelings are the bridge to your Higher Powers.</p><h2>About Visualization and Imagination</h2><p>Whenever I mention the words visualization or imagination here don’t become irritated just because you think you don’t see pictures.</p><p>Do you know the color and shape of your car?
When you can answer a question like that, you are able to visualize, because you can establish an internal representation of a remembered object. So visualization means remembering an object with one or more of your inner senses (not necessarily the visual).</p><p>What would your car look like if it was in … Pink?
If your car isn’t already in pink (then pick another color) you are able to create an internal representation of an object that you don’t remember but you create. That is called imagination. You create a picture or other internal representation of an object that is new to you and therefore not remembered.</p><p>So with this foreword you are now prepared enough to get the method for creating contact with your Higher Intelligence through getting in the zone.</p><h2>Overview Of The Process</h2><p>You will learn to relax your body, then your mind. After that you will deepen your level so you get even deeper into the zone.</p><p>Once you are there you create a special place for you &#8211; a sanctuary. This should act as an anchor that will help you to establish the needed level of relaxation and focussing even faster. It will also enable you to establish different ressources you might need in your further development.</p><p>After you established your sanctuary you can invite inner experts or mentors that will help you to get the answer to your questions. These experts or mentors act as internal representation of you universal knowing. They are imaginations that will help you to access what is currently hidden within you. This might be needed information but also support for anything that you want to change in their area of expertise. I advise you to create several experts for the different areas of your life.</p><h2>Step 1 &#8211;  Prepare your Place</h2><p>For the first months I would really advise you to prepare a special place where you can make sure that while going to your zone, that no distractions will get you out of it.</p><p>How should such a place be:</p><ul><li><strong>No noise and other distractions</strong>: Try to make it as quiet as possible. I know that can sometimes be difficult. You might be in a room with other people. If possible get there agreement not to disturb you while you practice. Otherwise you might go for a time, where they are sleeping (that might be late at night or early in the morning), however you must make sure, that you aren’t to tired and sleepy yourself or you will just go to sleep during the exercise.</li><li><strong>Clean</strong>:  A room that is just a mess is a great distraction for your mind. You don’t want to think about your room, so tidy it up, before practicing.</li><li><strong>Comfortable and peaceful</strong>: You want your room to emanate a peaceful and harmonious vibration. There are several ways to do this: use candles or burn some incense. You can place photos or things that are spiritual or sacred for you there. I am not going into religion here but symbolic things can help you to get into the zone faster.If there has been any negative emotion in the room, let some air in, burn some incense or make anything that you feel would clean the atmosphere of the room. Listen to your own developing intuition for this. You can create a cleansing ritual for yourself.</li></ul><h2>Step 2 &#8211; Relax your body</h2><p>The next step is to relax your body. Your body and your mind share a very deep connection, so whenever you relax one of them the other one will follow. Although later on you can get into contact with your higher intelligence while moving or even driving I would advise you to start with a very relaxed and comfy atmosphere .</p><p>Here is how to achieve that within just minutes:</p><ol><li>Close your eyes
Closing your eyes will bring you to a natural Alpha-State within seconds.</li><li>Take a deep, relaxing and slow breath.
Use your diaphragm  for this. You can do this several times until you feel a certain relaxation.</li><li>Know that every cell of your body knows what relaxation feels like. All you have to do is to focus you attention on a part of your body and tell it to relax. Tell it in a deep, soothing voice and make it remember the best relaxation it ever felt. You can remember a time where you felt deeply relaxed and good. For me that would be lying in a hot bath or in the sun under a giant tree. You can pick whatever you like. Then expect to feel the relaxation in that part of your body.I normally start with my head first and go down to my feet.The order would be:
scalp &#8211; forehead &#8211; temples &#8211; eyes &#8211; nose &#8211; cheeks &#8211; mouth &#8211; jaw &#8211; back of head &#8211; neck &amp; throat &#8211; spine &#8211; shoulder &#8211; arms and hands &#8211; chest &#8211; abdomen &#8211; sexual region &#8211; thighs &#8211; knees &#8211; lower legs &#8211; feetAfter having gone through your body in that complete order you might find out that you only need to relax some parts and the rest of the body will be relaxed immediately. For me this means relaxing the eyes, jaws, neck and sexual region. I then scan through my body to find out whether there is anything left that needs special attention. Because of this shortcut I now can relax my body in about 15 seconds.<strong>Remember &#8211; your body remembers what total relaxation feels like. So all that is needed is to remind him to remember!</strong></li></ol><h2>Step 3 &#8211; Relax Your Mind</h2><p>After your body feels calm and relaxed you should go for mental relaxation. This just means to get in a peaceful state, where nothing bothers you. Again you have been in such a state and all you have to do is to remember that.
It hels to visualize and remember passive, tranquil scenes like walking along a beach or lying under a tree on a beautiful sommer day. Just indulge for a moment in those memories and you will be mentally relaxed soon.</p><h2>Step 4 &#8211; Go Deeper</h2><p>Now you have reached a basic relaxation level. Now it is time to go deeper. Again &#8211; your body and mind know what that feels like. You can just say „deeper“ every time you breath out. You can visualize being in an elevator or on an escalator going down. You can visualize floating in a sea (if you ever have been to the Dead Sea or have been in a floating tank you will remember. If not go there!).
You might want to countdown from 10 to 1 or even 20 to 1 (to your liking) and combine it with the word „deeper“.
Try some things and keep what works best for you.</p><h2>Step 5 &#8211; Create a Special Place</h2><p>I have found that one of the best things of all the methods I use is to create a special inner place for me, a sanctuary.
That could be a room, that could be a house with many rooms (for special occasions) or even a great piece of land.
I have created through several experiences not only a house for myself with lots of rooms, where I can be and meet my inner experts depending on my situation or mood, but I also added a wonderful garden, a lake and a mountain to my estate.
I enjoy being a creator here and you should too.
But start with building one place, where you feel so comfortable, strong, secure and at peace like never before. This is your place where you control everything.
Decorate that place however you like and take your time to do so and feel comfortable. You can change it, whenever you like or think you can improve it. It can be a room or outdoor. My favorite meeting place is a great veranda, where I can overlook the garden and the mountain.
This place will change with your progress in this kind of meditation.</p><h2>Step 6 &#8211; Create an inner expert for the wanted knowledge</h2><p>Now you might invite your experts. If you come with a question in your inner sanctuary, you can call an expert to step forward and visit you in your sanctuary. At first you might not see him clearly. So give him and yourself time to establish communication. Get a feel for him. Again learn to trust your feeling and intuition. Inside you know already how to do it.</p><p>Ask him the questions where you want him to help you find the answers. But don’t expect him to answer it immediately. Listen to him. Whatever comes to your mind &#8211; keep it for further approving. Maybe the answer will come immediately as a thought, maybe it will come some hours or days later.  But just expect him to know the answer that will be right for you at this time. Expect it, believe it and it will come. <strong>Define rules of communication</strong></p><p>When you first meet your inner expert for a given area you want to install some rules of communication.</p><ol><li><strong>You ask for his name:</strong> A name is an act of creation. With a name you define him as a persona. Through this name you can call him, whenever you want to.</li><li><strong>You ask how he wants to contact you:</strong>, this could be a sign, when he wants to give you important information. It could be a specific tingling in a part of your body, or a specific thought or whatever.</li></ol><h2>Step 7 &#8211; Come back</h2><p>Now it is time to come back to the here and now.
Say goodbye to your new found friend and decide to return.
You can leave your sanctuary in any way you like. I walk through a specific door I designed in my mind that connects me with this world. I count up (remember counting down is for increasing the depth of a trance) from 1 to 5 repeating several times, that when I reach the count of 5 I will feel perfectly fine, perfectly healthy and will be wide awake. When I reach 5 I open my eyes and repeat the statement that I feel perfectly fine, healthy and that I am fully awake in the here and now.</p><h2>Step 8 -Take notes</h2><p>Now you had a lot of impressions and insights while being in the zone. The best thing you can do right now is to grap a pen and paper and jot them down before they drift away from your memory. Don’t fall into the trap of believing that you will not forget them &#8211; you will, so capture the memory while it is still vivid in your mind.</p><h2>My experience with this method.</h2><p>I had a remarkable experience with this method that shattered my own believe of reality and time and space quite a bit.</p><p>I had some problems while meditating with keeping my focus.
So I went into my sanctuary with the question to my inner expert in Mental Techniques. When I asked her about focussing she asked me some questions that I will continue to elaborate on in another post. After a while she gave me a very deep insight about what the nature of focus is and how to easily maintain it.</p><p>Just two days later I was watching a video presentation of Greg Braden, where he described some secret teachings he had found in an ancient monastery in Tibet. And one of the central teachings of an ancient monk that describes how the universe and the mind work (according to their findings) was described with the <strong>EXACT</strong> sentence that my inner teacher gave me just 2 days ago. My mouth dropped as I heard these words.</p><p>You see &#8211; we have access to the information already within us. There is no need to go to Tibet (you can of course if you want to) &#8211; because the answers are stored already within you.</p><p><strong>As it is been said: Ask and ye shall receive.
